CRISL has adopted appropriate procedures and mechanisms to protect the confidentiality of the information it shared with the entities requesting ratings, under the terms of rating contract. As per CRISL Standard Operating Procedure, no Analyst other than the Analyst assigned has any excess to the client information. In addition, CRISL set the standard that the information collected by CRISL and its Analyst(s) are considered “held under Trust”. CRISL and its employees are obliged not disclose Confidential Information in press releases, research, conferences, or conversations with investors, or by any other means. Even after retirement departure from CRISL, the retired employees are under confidentiality contract not to disclose any Confidential information even after retirement departure.
The proceedings of Internal Review Committee meetings and also Rating Committee meetings are kept confidential. The voting of all the members in the above committees are also kept confidential.
